UPPER PROVIDENCE - Prior to the start of Friday night’s season finale, Perkiomen Valley was given quite a nice gift. Before hitting the ice, they should have walked over across the hall and given thanks to Methacton. Thanks to Methacton’s 6-3 loss, Perk Valley automatically qualified for the ICSHL Ches-Mont playoffs as the fourth and final seed of the American Conference.

GRATERFORD—Nothing went right on the offensive end of the basketball court for the Pope John Paul II boys early in Saturday afternoon's Pioneer Athletic Conference contest at Perkiomen Valley. But while they finished the first quarter with just four points on the board, the good news for the Golden Panthers was that they allowed the Vikings to score only a manageable 11 points during that same time.
