AUSTRALIA: 'Chinese Asylum Seekers' Rights Were Violated'

MELBOURNE,Mar 30(IPS)-A yet-to-be released report by Australia’s humanrights watchdog into the 2005 treatment of a group of Chineseasylum seekers held at the immigration detention here hasconcluded that serious breaches of civil and political rightswere made by the immigration department.
