On the cusp of its fifth anniversary—it opened in June 2006—Limerick’s the Casual Gourmet remains an island of satisfaction along busy Ridge Pike. Just before the recession began, a buildup of businesses in the area brought with it a boom in convenience stores and chain establishments, and a re-direction of Ridge Pike put the Casual Gourmet just off the main road.
